Secure your price before harvest

With a forward contract you agree the price in advance and deliver later. You know what you get — no matter how the market moves. Quantity, price and delivery point are agreed up front, and the contract is written in Haggla.

Forward contracts

1

Sign the contract

You agree on quantity, price and delivery point. The contract is signed on Haggla.

2

Payment in advance

The buyer pays in advance according to the contract. You get paid for what you have sold.

3

Delivery at harvest

You deliver the grain when it is harvested and ready, just as the contract says.

4

Same fee model as a direct deal

500 SEK fixed fee per party when the deal completes, and 2 % commission on the amount above 20 000 SEK for whoever created the listing. VAT is added to both.

5

Transport and storage can be attached

If the grain needs hauling or storing before collection, transport and storage can be handled in the same flow, with the terms in the contract.

6

Who can sign a forward contract

Either side can start. A grower can secure the price before sowing, and a buyer can secure the volume for the season. The contract is agreed between the two of you, and Haggla keeps contracts and invoices in one place.

Forward contracts are a unique Haggla feature — no other agricultural marketplace offers it. You secure price and buyer in advance.
